Job Description :

As a result of their success, they are seeking a Accounting Manager. The right candidate will be someone who is personally and professionally goal oriented and interested in helping foster company growth while achieving personal success.

Accounting Manager Experience: 

  • Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the accounting staff. This includes the supervision of all areas of the Accounting Department. 
  • Monitor and evaluate each accounting personnel’s performance. 
  • Oversee the daily operation of all accounting functions including accounts receivable and accounts payable. 
  • Manage the daily operation of the accounting functions to ensure all functions are being efficiently and effectively performed. 
  • Prepare and facilitate reports and journals necessary for the closing of the month-end financials. 
  • Coordinate the audit of the Company’s accounts 
  • Budget to actual reporting 
  • Inventory management 
  • Costing • Pricing 
  • Oversee A/P and A/R 
  • Travel management 
  • Expense reports 
  • Broker commissions and accruals 
  • Assist month end accruals, close, reporting 
  • Monthly reconciliations (A/R, A/P, Trade) 
  • Property taxes and other tax reporting 
  • Insurance reporting (WAR, Warehouse Values) 
  • Create and maintain production reporting for senior management 
  • Create and maintain quarterly profitability reports for senior management 
  • Compile manufacturing reporting 
  • Fixed assets, depreciation and amortization schedules 
  • Petty cash 
  • Maintain database AS400 
  • Query/sequel running 
  • Ad-hoc reporting 
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Advanced Excel User Qualification & Education: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience in a related field 
  • 5 – 8 years experience in pricing and financial fields or equivalent experience 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Proficiency in PC environment and spreadsheet software 
  • Strong communication, problem solving and project management skills 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
